It was not a bad film but the first two had more substance. HavingEddie Murphy may have made it better. There were some funny scenes whenthe animals found out she could talk but the dog coming from home tothe ranch was a bit impossible.
The one problem I had with the film is continuity. In Dr. Dolittle 2the oldest daughter (Raven) was the one talking to the animals. Theydid not create a bridge to let you know how it switched to the youngerdaughter.
The decision to release it directly on video was a good move by theproducers because it was not quite as good as the first two. All in allit was an enjoyable film.

To be completely honest with you, This movie is not that bad. OF courseit is no where near as good as 1 and 2 but you have to keep in mindthat with out Eddie Murphy it was gonna be an uphill battle.
At least we have Maya and Mrs. Doolittle, But you know who the focusshould have been on, LUCKY. The only times I laughed during this moviewere when Lucky was on screen.
Norm MAc Donald is very funny. They should have focused their attentionon Lucky and worked around him and not Maya. Come on who doesn't liketalking dogs.
I give it a 5 out of 10 and only because of Lucky. Remember in parts 1and 2 Lucky (norm)was pretty much the second most important charactersecond only to Dr. Doolittle (Eddie Murphy).

It was an OK movie.I ca'nt see why people are rating it so hi?Maybethey work for the company haha.Do'nt even think it's going to beanything like the first 2.I hope my young grandkids will like it.Mywife stopped watching it ,I wanted to but like to see endings. It had afew laughs, but wish id had read the reviews first.I ca'nt see why it'sso hard for movie companies to,make sequels.Or they just make it as lowbudget as possible. Tey don't want you to pirate movies but do theycare if you pay good money for garbage? I don't feel sorry for any ofthe studios. I can also see why murphy did'nt act in this one.Enoughwith not enough lines already Gary
Maya Doolittle can't fit in at school because of a special gift she can talk to animals so her mother sends her to a ranch to find herself but at first all she can find is a lot of hard work.
