It's hard to be a good man rising in this day and age,This Doco or essentially Lifeomentry shows how a young Irishman broke into the biggest syndicate in the world,..America. Notorious is an inspiration.
Conor McGregor a family man, went through mass quarrels to come out shining and shining a light on Dana White's venture UFC. This is an intoxicating capture of McGregor's struggles. Not since Leon Gast's fight film with Ali and Forman has there been a boots to the ground production like this.
Conor is engaging and emotional. This life could be anyone's life with a little battle work.Inspiring but close to the viewer. The prose is connected. Two superstars here other than the man, His girlfriend Dee Devlin and mother Margaret.
Rags to riches, Conor deserved his title shot with Mayweather as portrayed in this excellent film.

As a fan of Conor, I was looking forward to seeing this documentary, however, it fails to show anything we haven't already seen. Essentially, this is an extended episode of Embedded which heavily revolves around everyone but Conor.
The footage of Conor in his early years is limited and in that respect, we don't get a true sense of his progression, it's more presented that he just, sort of, "arrived" at the UFC and began fighting; some more depth would have definitely served well for this documentary to appeal to those who are perhaps not too familiar with Conor. already.
There are interesting moments, and, to give credit where it is due, it isn't a badly put together documentary, however, there are obvious gaps in attention to detail, with a lot of the included footage coming across as filler. The majority of the film focuses on Conors preparation before facing Aldo and Diaz, which, again, if you're already familiar with the UFC's Embedded series, is nothing new.
Though the die-hard fans may disagree with this review, they will be disappointed to see that I am telling it how it is.
