Fun, fast, empowering, emotional ...movie for all ages to enjoy.Specifically like how they tackled stereotypes ( prom queen but alsotech savvy, male nurses, self image) without losing the comedic side.Laura Marano and Leigh Allen Baker were a fabulous team with amazingcomedic timing. My 2 kids, myself, and husband all sat and watched ittogether and really enjoyed it. Any movie that can keep the familytogether gets my 2 thumbs up. They've already asked if we can watch itagain. Most Disney Channel movies are fluffy and I can barelytolerate....not this one. There were car chases for my son, promdresses for my daughter, and tons of laughs for the adults. The musicwas great too. Well done Disney!

The 96th Disney Channel Original Movie. I am watching it quite late, because I'm not a regular follower of the Disney Channel films, buthave seen many of them and I had enjoyed. Surely the target audiencefor this is the kids and mostly the girls. But I liked it as well. Thestory wise, it is simple like just one day event. A high school girlpreparing for the prom night, wakes up in the morning, finds her hairgot messed up. Now she has to fix it and the problem is the appointmentin the saloon and how to reach there since she has no vehicle or thelicense.
There's another side of the story. A pretended cop joins her in thequest in return a favour. So it's not just girl stuff, there are someactions. Running, chasing, theft, boyfriend trouble, the films have allthe ingredient to enjoy the whole 90 minutes. Good casting and theperformances, but I find some comedies are so silly. For a televisionand aiming for minors, everything looks fair. Just because we're beingadult, we expect realism. If you throw away your that mindset whilewatching it, you would surely have a nice time. My rating might lookonly a just above average, but that's not how I felt. This is a nicefilm, like most of the DCOM. So go for it.
A high school student is desperate to be prom queen, but on the big night her hair is an uncontrollably bad mess. Meanwhile, a lady FBI agent is on the hunt for a jewel thief who is looking for a stolen necklace, which the messy haired girl has in her possession. Soon, she and the agent chase the jewel thief, and she's whizzed on a wild adventure in the city.
