This is summer holiday and I saw quite a few preteen films like thiswith my niece. Since we watched the first two seasons of 'Girl MeetsWorld' together, I think she likes Rowan Blanchard and SabrinaCarpenter. So that's how we found this Disney's television film, whichwas adapted from the book of the same name. I expected it to be funlike that television series and yes, my niece loved it, but to me itwas an average.
Usually Disney means magical tales, but it was an sci-fi-magical. Well,it was the story of a teen girl Cleo, who is a bright student, butunnoticed on the school campus. On the other side, her big sister Mollyis a very popular who becomes invisible when Cleo's science projectgoes wrong. So the tale begins to revolve that particular day, which isvery important for Molly that decides her future. Both the sisters joinhands to tackle the day and to find the solution to undo theinvisibility.
This is a children's film, especially for the girls. But if you grew upin the 80s and the 90s, probably you would have seen better films inthis theme. It was too short, but that's a good thing than the 90minute torture. Anyway the film was not bad, only the way you look atit makes to have a different opinion.
It was just a fun holiday film aimed for kids, but I had my reason forwatching it. That doesn't mean it won't suit adults. I was surprised bythe quality of the graphics used in it, especially for a televisionfilm, it is a very standard which were obviously very rare sequences. The production quality alone makes it worth to have a look. It was notlike our days, in the todays world everything's so easy.

The latest use that the Disney Studios has made of its teen stars iswith Rowan Blanchard as the shy and retiring younger sister of ParisBereic who's as popular as Blanchard is shy. In fact Blanchard's onlyreal friend is fellow science geek Karan Brar.
Blanchard's smart though and she accidentally gets the secret ofinvisibility and unfortunately turns her sister invisible. That's notgood because among other things Bereic has to compete in a high schoolLacrosse tournament for a scholarship.
Both sisters get a handle on that one with scenes reminiscent ofDisney's The Absent Minded Professor when Fred MacMurray's discovery ofFlubber turns his hapless college basketball team into winners.
It was interesting to hear Karan Brar perform without accent. Thoughhe's of Indian ancestry he was raised in the USA and in both Jessie andBunk'd Brar takes on the Indian speech pattern.
Invisible Sister is an enjoyable teen comedy from The Magic Kingdom andat least while Blanchard and Brar operate under a deadline at least shewasn't faced with going insane like poor Claude Rains was.
While working on a science project, high school student Cleo accidentally creates a vapor that turns a moth invisible. But that's not the only thing she turns invisible; she finds out she also turned her older sister invisible. With her sister invisible and only hours to find a cure, Cleo must use her friends and her skills to cure her invisible sister.
